In 1985, James Kloster formed Kloster Industrial Assets, the predecessor company of Kloster Collateral Resources. Prior to forming Kloster Industrial, Jim held senior positions in the collateral management industry involving loan workout, field service, valuation and liquidation services. Jim began his business career in the manufacturing and publishing industries.
Our Team
Kloster Collateral Resources is a full service appraisal and collateral consulting business. We maintain excellent client relationships with commercial banks, asset based lenders, credit unions, CPA firms, law firms, and business owners. Our team of (5) full time appraisers has over 90 years of combined valuation experience in industries of all types. Our appraisers work on a local, regional, and national basis and have completed projects from coast to coast. We offer quick turn times for your valuation and collateral consulting needs, with the close attention to detail that our clients deserve.
Our business revolves around valuation. We are not equipment brokers of any kind, which means we have no conflict of interest with the businesses we work with. This way we are able to offer unbiased and true 3rd party insight into the valuation of assets.
